The Man You Claim to Want are the Men You've Already Lost
As much as I write about men’s issues on this Substack, I would like to write today about women and their issues in the dating market, namely, the issues that face them through the lens of abundance. Men tend to see things in dating through a lens of scarcity, and women tend to see things in dating through a lens of abundance.
As a man, I can easily tell you that when men enter the dating market, especially the online dating market, if men aren’t attractive or socially skilled, they will see scarcity first hand. We’ve seen women go on to online apps and pretend to be men and watch as they swipe right and get no matches for days, weeks, even months. The way the current online dating market plays out everyday, is that women not only are the gatekeepers of sex, but are now in command of relationships. This was an inevitability because as we know, the Sexual Revolution shall not be denied, women will get what they want and when they want it.
But a funny thing happened on the way to opening the barn doors of women’s sexual agency…
Reality was suspended.
